Living a life that is full of changes, challenges and inconsistencies- exercise has always been my consistent habit that has helped me stay grounded, energized and confident in my own skin.
I’m Teresa Busiek, creator of Workouts By Tee.
As a young, broke, new mom, in my second year of college, I was determined to finish what I had already started. I decided to take full responsibility of my future, my health and ultimately my happiness. I knew that choosing motherhood at a young age (without any money), didn’t have to mean sacrificing my goals or my body. With my new baby boy, I moved back into my dorm room, worked hard to finish my nursing degree and continued my passion as a collegiate athlete while working weekends bartending.
If I thought my schedule was tough as I finished school, I didn’t realize it would only get tougher once I graduated. My time was always limited- but regardless, I was never willing to sacrifice my body or my health to my situation.
I made sure to get in a few good workouts each week, even when it seemed impossible. I began to create workouts that fit into my day wherever I was. By creating a flexible template, I would always have a workout with me that would burn a bunch of calories, help me blow of some steam and engage all my muscles. Workouts that were completable even with limited time and limited equipment-leaving no room for excuses and little room for failure.
My workouts help me stay strong and healthy. They are designed in a way that I can incorporate the gym, different training styles and new exercises. I am always able to keep in mind my body goals without sticking to a strict fitness schedule unfit for my life as a hard working nurse and mother. When change is consistent, how will you stay consistent? When taking on new challenges and transitioning through big changes- our bodies should never be taken off of the priority list.
Workouts by Tee is my way of providing a route for the hard worker, the parent, the athlete, the beginner or anyone in between who needs a workout at hand to add into her or his day, enabling consistency with challenging but doable workouts, that will never get boring and keep your abs and your booty aligned.
